Today we will make papaya sabzi.
For Making Papaya Sabzi need the following ingrdients

Raw papaya - 600 grams (3 small)
Paste - 2 tomatoes, 1 inch ginger piece and 2-3 green chilies
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 3/4 tsp (as per taste)
Red chilly powder - less then 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - less then 1/4 tsp
Green coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Oil - for making sabzi
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp



Method:

Firstly cut papaya into the pieces. Cut it into two parts and then peel it.
Remove the seeds nicely. After cuting papaya rinse it thoroughly with clear water.
Now make sabzi from the papaya. Add 1 spoon oil in the heated pressure cooker.
Also add asafoetid and cumin seeds. Once cumin seeds become little brown add turmeric powder, and corriander powder.
After that add tomato-ginger-green chilly paste into it. Saute the masala well until oil floats on the surface. Masala is ready.
Now add the papaya pieces in the masala and cook nicely and Add salt,red chilly powder as well.
Saute papaya pieces for two to three minutes so that they get coated nicely with the masala. Add 1/2 cup water in the cooker.
Mix really well. Close the cooker with help of a lid. When it simmer's once, slow down the flame to minimum and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Sabzi is ready.
Now add garam masala, green coriander leaves in the sabzi.
Add garam masala and corrinder leaves in the end so that their fragrance remains for long.
Serve with chapatti, parantha, naan or rice.
