Sumit Saini of the team of coach and singer Harshdeep Kaur won the song's reality show "The Voice". Veteran singer Asha Bhosale, on the occasion of Grand Finale, gave Sumit the title of Ultimate Voice of India. The show airs on Star Plus on Saturdays
The winner received a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
While expressing his happiness after winning the show, Sumit said in a statement, "It was unbelievable for me to hear my name as the voice winner and receiving the award from veteran singer Asha Bhosaleji."
Sumit said, "Thank you all the teachers (coach) for recognizing my strength and my skills." If Harshdeep Kaur did not accompany Madam, then I could never reach here. I heartily want to thank him. '
He further said, "To get the opportunity to sing in front of legendary musician AR Rahman Sir and listening to his 'Jai Ho' comment on his music, it was like coming true to me. I would like to sing songs composed by them in the future. '
Sumit started his music by presenting himself in the Jagranans of Haryana. Coach Adnan Sami, Harshdeep, Kanika Kapoor and Arman Malik, along with Superguru Rehman also praised Sumit.
