Taapsee Pannu Thappad Movie Review

When the trailer of this film came, I was wondering how Anubhav Sinha would be able to conceive people in his film 'Thappad' that no one can Thappad his partner, and why If killed, which is wrong, is it such a big mistake that the matter reaches the divorce. Believe it or not, you will realize that even a Thappad can become the reason for divorce. This film is not a mirror, which we all should watch, 'Thappad' film will make you a better person too.

Amrita (Taapsee Pannu) has a daily routine. She wakes up in the morning, opens the door of the house to get milk, picks up the newspaper, makes tea, sets off her husband's alarm, gives him tea, takes care of her mother-in-law, sets aside time for herself while drinking tea Is, takes a photo from the phone, smiles looking at the neighbor, packs lunches for the husband, when the husband is leaving the house in a hurry then runs towards him, gives him his wallet, bag, tiffin and then. .. peace of breath.

Amrita's routine has been shown so many times that we finally remember it. Rather, this routine is followed even after that incident (when Amrita's husband Thappadped her). This Thappad happens suddenly. If the husband is upset about something, people surround him and stand up. The rest are shocked because all this happened in front of the guests. Everyone goes ahead and then they realize that Amrita has not progressed from this incident!

'Thappad' is the story of a woman who forgets it and refuses to move forward. This is the story of a woman who believes that this Thappad is not just a physical act of anger, but more than that ... it is part of a toxic mentality in which these 'small things' do not affect the marriage needed.

The 'Thappad' made in Anubhav Sinha's direction is typical of his quiet moments. When Amrita refuses to bear her husband's behavior, her decision is seen in many ways. 'the Thappad? It is just a Thappad. Amrita tries to convince them that it was never about how many times she was killed or how dangerous the violence was, but rather it is about how it happened… in such a normal way.

Anubhav Sinha has a good grip on the film. Like the audience, everyone around Amrita seems to be slowly trying to understand the situation and react to it.

Taapsee Pannu's work is superb in the film. Emotionally and physically, she shows her character and her understanding well. Taapsee's relationship with her father (Kumud Mishra) and the moment between them is one of the most beautiful moments in the film. Kumud Mishra, himself a brilliant performer, is looking into the role of father.

Pavail Gulati has also done a good job in the role of Amrita's husband. He has done wrong, but he is not a completely black character, in such a situation he has shown that he makes the character relatable. The rest of the film's star casts - Maya Saro, Ratna Pathak Shah, Geetika Vidya Ohliyan, Tanvi Azmi, Dia Mirza, Manav Kaul, and Ram Kapoor - also acted in the film.

The 'Thappad' also raises questions about some more important issues: what is needed to keep a family together? Should all the wrong things be tolerated silently? And is it only the woman's responsibility?

'Thappad' stays with you even after the end of the film. This is a must-watch.
