From Bollywood to Hollywood, the famous couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have donated to bring relief in Floods in Assam and asked their fans to do the same. Social media has shared the names of two such organizations to which anyone can donate.
Priyanka Chopra tweeted, 'While we are all still dealing with the effects of the global pandemic, one state of India, Assam is facing another big crisis. It was destroyed by the flood due to heavy monsoon rains, affecting the lives of millions of people. Its impact on land and property as well as life is unimaginable. The rapidly rising water level has also flooded Kaziranga National Park, one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

Priyanka wrote that, 'They (flood affected people of Assam) need our attention and support. I am sharing the details of some reliable organizations which are doing some good work at the ground level in Assam. We and Nick have donated to provide relief in floods. Let us support such organizations so that they can continue to help the needy people. Nick also shared the same message on his social media accounts. He has shared details of two organizations working in flood relief, Action Aid and Rapid Response.
Priyanka Chopra is the brand ambassador of Assam and has taken many initiatives to support tourism in the state. Earlier, Priyanka and Nick also donated to the Coronovirus Relief Fund and shared links to all Indians, Americans and charities to whom they had donated. He also donated to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund and the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
