Karan Johar does not agree with his upcoming Movie Brahmastra getting an OTT release

In 2014, Ayan Mukerji had made the official announcement of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starring Brahmastra. Yes, it has been 6 years since the announcement was made but the film release continues to be delayed for one reason or another.

If the COVID-19 epidemic had not reached the world, Brahmastra was preparing for its release on December 4, this year. But it seems that OTT platforms are committed to streaming the film on their digital platform.

Should the latest reports be made by Disney + Hotstar ask Fox Star Studios if its makers would approve Brahmastra's direct web release.

According to the report, Karan Johar has turned down the offer after Disney + Hotstar asked Fox Star Studios if they could offer Brahmastra for their broadcast platform. A source close to the makers revealed the site, "Disney + Hotstar has now asked Fox Star Studios if they can offer Brahmastra for their broadcast platform. That is to say, Disney + Hotstar wants Brahmastra to pass the theater release and reach its exact platform.

"They feel that Brahmastra is a long-awaited actress and when it first shows on their platform, it will fetch them from the recording studios. Producer Karan Johar, however, has not shown any interest. He believes the heavy film with a hundred VFX will be greatly appreciated in cinemas," the source said.

Commenting on the conclusion of the second and third trilogy, the source went on to say, "From now on, there are no talks on Brahmastra. All efforts of Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios have completed the first part. The filming will end this month after which the group will focus on production." "Studios is out of this business, future episodes are likely to be done. Karan Johar is looking forward to answering the first part.
