Ingredients

2 cups Paneer (Homemade Cottage Cheese), made fresh at home
1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
3/4 cup Icing Sugar
1 cup Dry coconut (kopra), grated
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract For stuffing (optional)
Badam (Almond), as needed

How to make Chocolate Modak Recipe

First into a big mixing bowl, add the homemade chenna (Paneer), the icing sugar, desiccated coconut, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder and rehash well for at least 5 minutes until the chocolate modak mixture is well combined.

It should be smooth without any lumps. Bring the chocolate modak mixture together in a ball, and pinch a lime-sized portion of the mixture, to shape into modaks.

Use modak mould to give them the trademark shape. You can also place a whole almond inside the mixture before shaping into a modak.
