Ingredients for Matar Samosa Recipe
For samosas
Flour - 1 cup,
Semolina - 1 teaspoon,
Salt - as per taste,
Oil - 2 teaspoons,
lukewarm water - 1/3 cup
For stuffing
Boiled peas - 2 cups,
Oil - for frying,
Coriander powder - 3 teaspoon,
Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon,
Mango powder - 1 teaspoon,
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon,
Salt - as per taste
Method to make Matar Samosa Recipe
Mix flour, semolina, salt and oil and mix well the flour first and then knead it well with the help of water. Now keep it for 10 minutes to set.
First, boil the green peas with some water. Now drain the water and dry it a little. Now add peas, coriander, chili, mango powder and garam masala powder in a bowl. Then add salt as needed.
Now heat oil in a pan. Add the green peas mixture to it and fry it well till its water dries up. Now remove it from the gas and keep it aside.
Make small dough balls. Now roll them. Cut the filling in half and cut in half from the center. Paste the edges together and pack them completely.
Put oil in a pan to heat. Now fry the samosas in it. Remove on absorbent paper and serve with tamarind sauce, hot samosas.
