Indian Idol 11 Winner Sunny Hindustani Got 25 Lakhs And A Car

In the grand finale that ended with much pomp and gaiety, Sony Entertainment Television's Indian Idol got its 11th season winner as Sunny Hindustani. The finale was by no means a sublime performance, with judges Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani, and host Himesh Reshammiya setting the stage on fire with captivating performances on Bollywood chartbusters.

The finale featured celebrities like Ayushmann Khurrana, Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Anoop Soni, Tony, and Sonu Kakkar and Season 10 winner Salman Ali. And not only that, while Krushna Abhishek of The Kapil Sharma Show added fun and entertainment to the festival, host couple Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya brought contestants of India's Best Dancer to give a glimpse of their upcoming dance reality show.

The winner of Indian Idol Season 11, Sunny Hindustani, was awarded a cheque for Rs 25 lakh, a new car Tata Altroz and a song contract in the upcoming film of T-Series. The first runner-up Rohit Raut, who had given the stiff competition, was awarded a check of Rs 5 lakh each. The second runner up Ankona Mukherjee was given a check of Rs 5 lakh. The third and fourth runners-up, Ridham and Edridge, each received a check of Rs 3 lakh from Sony Entertainment Television. Beyond this, all participants were assigned various gift hampers.

Happy and overwhelmed with her win, Sunny said, "I didn't even think about going through the first round, winning the competition is a distant thing. I have come a long way and cannot believe that the journey has just begun. From getting the opportunity to sing on such a big stage to actually winning the show, it is like making all my dreams, wishes and prayers come true together. '
