Sabudana Saffron Kheer is very fun. It can also be eaten on fast. The taste of this kheer is enhanced by having saffron and dry fruits.


Ingredients for Sabudana Saffron Kheer


1/2 cup sago (Sabudana)
6 cups milk
1 small bowl sugar
8 cashews (finely chopped)
8 almonds (finely chopped)
8 raisins
8-10 saffron threads
1 tsp cardamom powder

Method for Making Sabudana Saffron Kheer:


To make Sabudana Saffron Kheer, first soak the sago (sabudana) for 2 hours.

Separate the remaining water from the sago after a certain time.

Now put saffron in 1 tsp milk.

After this, put milk in a vessel for boiling on high heat.

When milk starts to boil, add soaked sago.

Now cook it while stirring continuously until it comes to a boil.

After a certain time, add milk containing raisins, cashews, almonds and saffron and cook it.

Now cook the kheer on medium flame till it becomes thick.

Now add sugar and cardamom powder and cook for 2 minutes.

Turn off the gas after the scheduled time.

Delicious sago kheer is ready. Serve hotly

You can serve it by cooling it too.
