Arvind Joshi, father of actor Sharman Joshi, who is known as an actor and director in the world of Gujarati theater, died at Nanavati Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai at around 3.00 am today. Arvind Joshi acted in several hit Gujarati films, but he was recognized for acting in Gujarati plays and as a director of Gujarati plays. If you talk about Hindi films, Arvind Joshi also played small roles as a supporting artist in all films like 'Ittefaq', 'Sholay' Apmaan Ki Aag, 'Kharidar', 'Thikana' 'Naam'. He also worked in many Hindi serials.

In a Interview, Prem Chopra, a close and well-known actor of Arvind Joshi, said, "Arvind was a very good-natured person. He was admitted to Nanavati Hospital for the last 2 weeks. Due to complications related to all age related diseases He was very ill and therefore had to be hospitalized. His contribution to Gujarati theater will always be remembered. "
The last rites of Arvind Joshi will be performed today between 11.00 and 12.00 in the cremation ground at Vile Parle, Mumbai with Hindu custom.
He is survived by wife, son Sharman Joshi and daughter Mansi Joshi Roy. Mansi is also a well-known name in the world of acting in television and she is the wife of actor Rohit Roy.
