Uttar Pradesh police has registered a case against Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha for cheating her. She is accused of not taking a show for a stage show.
An FIR has been registered against Sonakshi in Katghar police station in Uttar Pradesh. She took Rs 24 lakhs from organizers for a stage show but the program was not done. UP Police reached the house of Sonakshi yesterday, but she was not at home. A case has been registered under section 420 and 406 of the IPC for cheating.

Sonakshi is a daughter of Bollywood shotgun and former MP Shatrughan Sinha. During this Lok Sabha election, Shatrughan Sinha, along with his family, had been in a lot of discussions. Shatrughan Sinha had contested the election on his ticket by entering the Congress and giving leave to the BJP. However, they had to face defeat. His wife, Samajwadi Party, had given candidature to Lucknow from Uttar Pradesh.
